HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY finally some good news in this long process but the war is not won until my husband steps foot on US soil... This is just a small battle we just won.

This E-mail message is in reply to your inquiry regarding the Form I-601, Application for Waiver of Grounds of Inadmissibility, which your constituent filed with USCIS on August 22, 2014.

Our records show that this case was approved for expedite consideration on October 15, 2014. At this time, we are working with the consulate in Costa Rica regarding this case. If your constituent has not received a decision or other notice of action within 30 days, please contact us for an update.

Just a heads up that might be useful to some of you. My I-601 was approved on September 8. I'm outside of the US but my son in Florida got the approval by mail yesterday, a few days behind because of

On june 24th it has been 14months exactly for the 601 and still nothing. the 212 is another 10 more days before it hits the 14month mark. Its so cruel and unfair to be punished like this due to a stup

30 days would put you just outside the 3 month timeline you were hoping for !! We are all rooting you !!

I am hoping it has been assigned to an adjudicator since it was approved 2 weeks ago. I know how hard I is to get an expedite from the USCIS. I am grateful that someone actually read our expedite request and understands the urgent situation. If my husband can get in the consulate by the first week of December, then he wont have to re-do the medical ( $150.00) He can just get another police certificate and bring his passport.

Thanks for the support everybody ! Its very difficult to go through this and not be able to talk to friends because they just don't understand... thank God for VJ

10 year bar for over stay not sure how long its going it take I been waiting. I called 10 days ago and they told me the same status as online not sure if calling them makes any difference

you have to talk to the tier 2 operator. The operator who picks up the phone reads off the same screen you can see. If you can, call back and ask for tier 2. Sometimes they give you a hard time.. Just act confused.. Ours is a simple overstay too. I hope you hear something soon. Have you checked your case on the CEAC lately ? Mine was updated yesterday after no updates since July 18th. It might give you some hope.

Use the case number the NVC gave you. The embassy has your file until the waiver is approved.

We just received an I601 approval for fiance visa. We filed on May 30th 2014.

AWESOME !! CONGRATS !!!

I saw a July 24th waiver approval on a FB group yesterday. Regular 601. I hope they start moving faster because the holidays are coming. It sucks being separated from your loved one, especially during this time of year.

No update on that site either thanks for help! I hope they work on June cases soon

I called the consulate this morning and they told me there hasn't been an update in our file since July 18th. So SOMEBODY was looking in my file. Hopefully it was NSC.... but I am not sure if USCIS has access to the CEAC since USCIS is Homeland Security and CEAC is for the Dept of State/Consulate. The suspense is killing me !!
