"On October 11, 2018, we approved your Form I-601, Application for Waiver of Grounds of Inadmissibility, Receipt Number LINxxxxxxxxxx."

 

After my waiver is approved, I contacted the embassy and they told me to send the original approval docs through postal mail. They received docs since Oct 29 and I never heard of anything ever since. Is this something normal that they just need time to review my waiver? what else can it be?

On October 11 we were approved for our 212 and 601 immigrant visa cr2. The manila embassy is suppose to send a letter out in 2-3 days after approvals receipt for a final interview. They have not sent anything and its been a month and a half since they got the notice.

We have called them and emailed them and still they cannot open the file. I don't know shy it takes so long when everything has already been done.

We already had to wait 18months for the approvals and now its uncertain how long this wait will take. They just don't give a ####### and I'm not sure who to contact to make a complaint. The US govt is a joke when it comes to finishing up, they just don't care about anyone besides themselves!

I figured I create an account to follow up my dad's I-601 status. I did have a question I am currently in the military would that possible give any grounds for expedite? Thanks!

 

Refused under section 221(G) - Section 212(a)(2) (a)(1) Crime Involving Moral Turpitude
Eligible to apply for a waiver of the ground(s) of ineligibility.

We have since through a lawyer processed I-601, Application for Waiver of Grounds of Inadmissibility and its priority date is

2018-08-06 sent to Nebraska facility.

We are now in the waiting process. USCIS website processing times below in correlation to the day that I check for updates.

My husband and I are waiting for the same approval. Our waiver request has been in Nebraska since March 12, 2018. Hopefully it will be 12.5 months and not 16.

 Its long story of mine started in 2014 petition i130 filed approved in 2015.went for visa interview and got refused for mispresentation in past and inform me to file i601 waiver.2016 filed waiver after one year waiver denied.again filed waiver 2018 today with yours all here and god blessing i got approved waiver.tears in eyes such a long tym i and my wife waited to hear that word approve.now waiting for embassy to contact me for further proceedings.
