Hi yes I had a I601A approved but was denied at interview I only filed the I601 waiver for my inadmisability but double check the paper you got at the embassy

Hi Saira05 quick question. What does it say on your I-601A waiver status online Now?

does it still show approved?

I have never heard of an approved I 601A being unapproved, I suppose it is theoretically possible.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

It only shows that it was approved and what to do next but since I got denied at the interview I filed the new waiver the I601 because I’m outside USA now and I’ve been trying to check my status on the new receipt number I got but still doesn’t show up

Yes it’s very common because the I601A only qualifies for unlawful presence. Once I got to my  Embassy in my case juarez I got denied for fraud misrepresentation that I didn’t even know until I got to the embassy

The I 601A is still valid, you now need a waiver, I 601, because you have issues not addressed by the I 601A.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Correct my waiver I601A was approved while I was in the USA once I got my apt in juarez that’s when the consul told me my I601A is no longer valid because I’m already outside USA in this case in Mexico and told me I need to file I601 waiver that covers inadmisibility.

Thank you all for your help  for being aware of our questions through our journey it helps us a lot

It did what it said on the packet, waived your illegal presence, but you have other issues. Should not have bothered applying with a Misrep.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
