There is no point wasting resources on full background checks if you are not otherwise approvable.

Hello everyone!

I've had the interview where I've been told that I have a 3-year bar. I was so confused and didn't ask some important qustions. May be some of you can help me. What date the bar starts from? the day i departed usa?  Or any other? If so then my bar is going to be over in Nov.2019 which is almost 16 month from now and based on waiting time it makes almost no sense to apply for I-601. What will happen if I don't apply I-601, will I be scheduled for interview again? Or if i will do I-601 and the bar will be over befor the application is reviewed,  will i get a new interview appointment, or should I wait the review? Thanks everyone who can answer!

Yeah your 3yrs bar starts the day you left the U.S...…

Hopefully you have proof of departure (e.g flight ticket or immigration date stamp on your passport from your home country when you arrived there after your departure). I agree with @Boiler you can start now and hopefully you get approved before the 3yrs bar is over. If you apply for waiver, the interview will be scheduled by the embassy but if you decide to wait until after the bar is over then you will have to do a new visa application like you did before you were denied.

Hello

I have a question maybe some one have an idea

There is any difference between the waiver cases?

I mean some people they over saty their visa with criminal record in USA and they just lift USA no deportion

In such cases do they have to wait for 14 months also ??? Or it's just the same for all kind of cases

Please if some one have an idea share with us I guess we will keep in touch for a while as long we are waiting for the waiver

Thanks for your time

Waiver cases typically go through same process but depending on each case circumstances it may need additional processing time or just at the mark.
