I-601 WAIVER UPDATES

I feel like its going to be 13 months until I get an answer as I just had my lawyer send 1 601 last week.My american daughter is living with me in UK but she wants to go to school in USA this year and she has bad anxiety and would not go without me.She is 21.My lawyer put in expediate.I have not heard back yet as my filie only arrived in Phoenix on 01/03/2018. I am very sad it see that it may sit for 13 months and she may not be able to start school later this year.Does anyone know after it arrives in Phoenix how long it takes to get to Nebraska?

Your daughter should also seek treatment to be able to cope with her anxiety.  It seems that it's preventing her from becoming the person she wants to be. Best of luck to you two.

It may take up to a month  before you receive your notice. Mine was received November 22, 2017 and I received notice in mail November 27, 2017.

It was sent in October of 2017.

HI they took payment today for waiver Will they sent receipt number by mail from USA or send me and email?

Most of the receipts i think are printable online after payment right on same website you paid or emailed to you but not sent be regular mail.

Hi everyone I’m here for an update my husband got approved for his I-601 on November and his appt was feb 20th. Thank god he got the DHL packet a week after on wedenesday 28 and he had to give all his belongings away including his house. He entered the US Friday 2nd and couldn’t be happier. Stay strong for those still waiting cuz god knows what he is doing and there are times he puts obstacles to see how strong we are and how much faith we have in him. I’ll continue to be praying and god bless you all and keep your heads up and keep moving forward much love the JIMENEZ FAMILY

Thank you, there was no interview, so this is what it is, you do your biometrics a day before or cpl days before when you do the whole physical they ask you for Your pee sample they ask cpl questions then you go to psychologist she/ he asks questions and if she / he, JUST gives you a paper back then there is something wrong but if she/he, lets you go, on the  packet your suppose to turn in to consulate should be some red lines on the label, that says that you are good and approved. Once you go to the consulate there is no interview only if the psychologist saw you if you had bd that little paper then there is interview but the whole process for the consulate to find out if you are approved or not took 3 hours that’s how long the wait is. My husband had the appt at 8:45am came out at 11:36 if looking for a hotel and you are on a budget go to La Victoria inn we paid 180 for 4 days that is all hope I helped a bit.
