Now I get why when I try to submit a status inquiry it says that its not outside of processing time, on the 1st of Dec it will be 8 months that we have been waiting hopefully we get a response soon ?

Not sure why they have two different dates. I called USCIS and they told me that it's the bottom right hand date they go by. It's really sucks right now 8-10 month wait. last year they were like 6-8 months wait ?

You possibly didn't give enough info for your case or they just want to know more about it ..

Our case got updated to Request for more Evidence. Does someone know what they could have requested and how long does it take for them to give you a reply back for the RFE?

well yes I know what a RFE is. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience about it and was willing to shed some light on it. Our receive date was march 3rd

I am unable to check the status of my husbands I-601 application on the USCIS website. I have the receipt number but it tells me My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered. Please check your receipt number and try again....has anyone else had trouble. Calling takes forever to get someone on the line.

Does anyone know if the processing times are getting better?

Nope, it doesn't look like processing times are improving at this point. I thought they might start picking up, but they ended up slowing back down after Thanksgiving. Hopefully they will get a bunch of cases processed soon, I have a large amount I'm following in the tracker just from the first week of March. Over 200 for an 8 day span.

This journey isn't easy...we went over many hurdles along the way... We are together now, 4 years going strong... It's never impossible, it is a matter of having the strength and love to conquer all things along the way!

It's frustrating my husband left Nov 2015. Waiver received March 14, 2016. No word from immigration or lawyer. October 17 an inquiry was made USCIS replied Nov 1. 2016 that the information entered was incorrect and did not match their records. Called the lawyer, lawyer said unfortunately there is nothing to do but wait. On November 17 the lawyer sent In a new inquiry up to this day no new news!!! It's been a year since my husband left the US and 8 months since the waiver was sent and soon it will be 9 months!!!
