LD .I know what you mean .Dont know what else they could want from you. I,m praying for us all.

That's what we keep wondering...what could possibly be the problem now?! He's at the embassy right now.... Guess we will find out soon enough. After 23 months, I'm just ready to get this over with! Thank you!

Hello guys I am new to the thread. I have filled a 601 waiver for my husband and we sent out our waiver in march and I was told by my lawyer that it takes 4 months but doing my research online it seems like it takes longer. The pain of separation is getting unbearable now.

I know but it is effecting my health now and mind is touring apart now. I feel really week.

You have to keep busy and try not to focus on the waiver so much. I know it's very difficult. Believe me ours took 10 months. I know just how you feel. You have to find somethings to do to keep your mind off it and pass the days.

Here are somethings I did:

Took a few yoga classes

Visited friends and family

Traveled to see him

Found some free events in my community to attend; art show, festival, etc

Cleaned out my basement

Worked extra shifts at work

Then shopped with my extra $$ lol

Find something that interests you reading etc.

Yes, I had many many days like that also. Some days were good some days I allowed myself to be miserable and depressed. Don't be too hard on yourself and just do the best you can. I'd have days I didn't want to do anything but sulk and cry. Then I'd have days where I just couldn't wallow in my bed anymore. I prayed constantly.

Just know that it will all come in time. Eventually, it will all work out.

We had to call them Wed,and the lady send in an expedite request. I am always afraid to contact them as it might slow things even more, she say no, so we sent in the request.

LionessDeon, I am so excited and happy for you!!!! I have been following this thread and everyone's post. It appears most folks are getting replies now, and a large majority are approvals.

There are a few newbies here, and all I can say is hold on. I understand the depression, mood swings, anxiety...I have been taking an anti-depressant just so I can cope. Even with that, seeing a therapist and going to support meetings things sometimes become overwhelming and I become fearful. I find help when I meditate and pray to my God. I also find consolation in this forum. When I read I know I am not alone, and some here offer their prayers and encouragement as well...everything helps.

My husband is still in Mexico City while I am here in the USA waiting, hoping, praying that he is allowed to come home. We filed our 601 wavier in March after he was denied re-entry. He will have another medical exam, and I guess another interview with the Consulate...we will see what happens this time.

Just know if you post on her you are on my prayer list every day and every night. God bless...I hope your families are restored soon.

Peace!

Thank you both!

Such an inspiring post. I too, have found solace in Prayer and this forum. I went through my PMs today and the support over these past 2 years is just overwhelming. I couldn't have gotten through this without VJ.

I pray every day (and will continue to do so) for all of us that we will all be reunited with our loved ones soon. I pray for the IOs, consulates, and adjudicators that they continue to work with compassion and justice in their hearts. It's a difficult road but we will all be stronger and that much more grateful.

Keep us updated!

Blessings!
