We had our interview at the Consulate today. As it turns out, the Consulate wrongfully denied my wife her immigrant visa. She did not need a waiver!!!!!!! They issued us the visa and now she is good to go. So, after 2 years, $$$ for an attorney, $$$ for the initial forms, $$$ for the waiver.....they still made us pay the $325 today for the visa (even though we paid that at her first interview when they wrongfully denied her!). We head to the States on Monday. I am just glad this nightmare is over with and we can get on with our lives.

MY HUSBAND'S PLANE JUST TOOK OFF !!! I will finally be with him in 5 hours !!! Just a side note though...

The airport immigration gave him a hassle. When he checked in and checked his bags, they pulled him aside to check his visa information. It took about 30 minutes. They asked him for a yellow paper ( which he had) and they even called the US to verify his visa. He was a little nervous but everything turned out ok and he is on the plane... I hope POE is an easy one.

The roads are all iced up in my area, Several pile up accidents being reported already.(6am-7am) I hope it warms up and the ice melts. I will be leaving my house around 11:30 am . I'll be the one driving like an old lady.

My husband is here. He didn't have any issues at POE. He was actually outside waiting for me at the airport. I can happily say our long journey is over. Good luck to all who are still waiting. I definitely know how you feel.
