N-400 requirements, possibility of lost marriage cert.

Hello,

I am married to a US citizen and getting ready to apply for my citizenship

as far as I know that's what needed:

- N-400 form

- Money order (680$)

- Copy of my spouse birth cert or passport

- Two pics of applicant 2'' x 2''

- Copy of marriage cert. translated in English

please let me know if there any item missing, I also want to ask that there is possibility that we lost our marriage cert. and its gona be hard and time consuming to get a replacement from my home country. I am open to any suggestion and hopefully we can find it without going thru any hassle.

I also want to ask that we have kids together would it be needed to attach their birth cert. or passports?

I don't think you're going to get around the marriage certificate requirement. They need to see that you are legally married and they need to verify the date of the marriage to determine your eligibility.
