Hi i have the following question, im currently being petitioned by my step-father (US Citizen), he filed in for the i-130 (Alien Relative), im not an immediate relative of him & im currently under 21 (19), how much time would it aprox. take to process my case & in which Family Sponsored does my case is so i could have an idea of the cutt-off date on the Visa Bulletin Board.

Form: i-130 (Alien Relative)

Relate: Step-son (Not Immediate relative)

My Processing Date is: MARCH52013

I'm not very familiar of how this process works, i've tried to call to contact numbers, but they're almost always busy, and sent an email to the NVC but there's no answer yet. If you could give me a hand, just to know where im currently standing & have some sort of a idea how my proccess will take i would really appreciate it. If you need any other information let me know. Thank you very much!

Then you are an immediate relative, and will stay so until you turn 21 or receive the visa. You should not age out before you receive your visa if you are 19 now.

It was approved by USCIS (December) and sent to the NVC (Received on April), Affidavit Support has been introduced and approved by them, my stepfather received a notice by them with the NVC Case Number and the Priority Date about 4 Months ago. I don't really know if that means that my case was approved by them or not.

You should call the NVC and see what is happening, and whether any extra information is required or you are already complete.

Incorrect.

CSPA freezes the age of an Immediate Relative child of a USC when the I-130 was filed. Turning 21 has zero effect and he will not cease to be an Immediate Relative.

There is no danger of aging out.
