Hello all, DCF is the way to go if you can do it. Filed at USEM March 31. Approval first week of April. Took Medical in May. Problem with XRay so my wife had to do sputum. 2 Month wait. July 21 passed Medical. August 25 visa approved. Just looked at CEAC site Visa Issued. Fabulous! Thanks for this great site and the help.

You won't receive your Green Card till you pay the $165. You really should just try and pay before you leave.

Yes, you can still enter.

I'm not 100% on the time you have to pay the $165 so check on that when you arrive in the USA!

The green card will not be printed till the $165 fee is paid. As far as a time limit, well the stamped visa is good as a temp green card for a year, so one would assume that's the time you would have. That's what I'm going on anyway.

I tried to set up the account and see about paying, but the site didn't like the a#, so I figured I'd get it straightened out on the other side.

Were outta here on the 7th of sept, midnight flight going through S. Korea. Can't wait to get back home. Kinda nervous too, been here over a year now, out in the province in Mindanao, gonna be interesting re-adjusting to the us.

Unpaid Fees

USCIS will not issue you a Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) until it receives your Immigrant Fee. USCIS will send you a Request for Evidence (RFE) if you do not pay your fee after 45 days. You will receive a second RFE if you fail to pay the fee within 90 days.

Proof of Status before Receiving Your Permanent Resident Card

You will receive an ADIT (Alien Documentation, Identification and Telecommunications) stamp upon entering the U.S. that will serve as proof of permanent resident status for up to one year or until you receive your Permanent Resident Card.

Yep, I remember that. Got mine in butuan, like the lady told me, 5 2x2 pics, and 500php. They took the copies they needed so it was an extra 7.50php for that, no biggie. Was in and out in about 15-20 mins.

We were in CdO, and was going to do it there, but they wanted a copy of my ticket, and to fill out a form that did was not for getting an exit clearance, and a half dozen copies, I didn't bother asking how much. Was not expecting that, so we just headed home with the visa(the reason we were in CdO) and went to butuan the next week.

I think I read that if you have not gotten your GC after 3 weeks to call. I hope that adding that 0 didn't cause a problem for you. You might want to give them a call to check, if you haven't already.

Wow so the exit clearance is not so expensive eh.Lol When i was at poe the cbp guy told me gc will be sent within 1-3 months.I track it online and it doesnt say "optimized" yet.I remember reading the addition of zero on their instruction pdf(i'll look it up),payment was accepted like 5 weeks ago. They havent even sent my ssn yet because of the first/middle name issue!haha I am patiently waiting though and ssa told me i can find a job while my ssn application is pending.
