So I called the DOS again this morning...pending. But the lady that answered was actually really nice, she sent an email to follow up on the case to see why the visa had not been issued. Something different.

I got that same lady or at least same reply last Friday when I called. yeah for us...:dance: Maybe something good is going to happen!!!

This is the same lady I talked to the first time I called back in October. She told me at that time that the particular check they ordered taked 3-4 months. So hopefully they are finishing up because it has been 3 months going on 4.

I've never called DOS.....I didn't even know there was a real phone number to reach them at. Could someone provide me with that number so I can call and bug someone - been in AP for about same time as JP now.

202-663-1225, options 1,1,0 and you get connected to a live person. Give them your case #, the AMM######## thingy. Good Luck!

Thanx JP, you rock! You should start your own Visa services business.....you'd make big bucks. LIVE THE AMERICAN DREAM GIRLFRIEND!

I have graduated from the VJ academy. There are people here that know ALOT more than me. But thanks!

I had an afternoon slap in the face today. It still hurts :(
Oh Lord, JP....she's a DOS virgin she should be kept that way!!!!!

LOL I thought everyone liked that daily slap in the face from the DOS. It's how I start my day everyday, better than coffee! LOL

If you call everyday, your face will get numb and you won't feel them anymore.

I learned how to knit this weekend. I made a little blankie for the teddy bear my husband gave me last valentines day  Next, I think I'm going to make a scarf for my stuffed cat.

Got stuck in Madison this weekend, and missed work yesterday. I got a winter coat - black wool, kinda pea coat style - for 70% off.

Yup, that's my news. Back to work I go.

Can I borrow your coat?? :D Sounds like a coat that I've wanted for the past 15 years or so.

I tried to learn knitting. I took a class last year but the class wasn't that great and I have no idea what to do. I haven't given up on the thought but it's not forefront on my mind right now.

But I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with it. They make some really neat yarns these days. :)

Have ya'll tried the Knifty Knitter looms? They rock. I have 8 of the dang things and my house is one big ball of yarn :D If you get hooked on it (insert group groan here) you have to get some of Moda Dea's Eden yarn.... oh so sinful.
