Dave, you being taught to use a rifle at a young age is fine. Being allowed to shoot an Uzi at age 9 with little to no former training, is ridiculous! Some folks here seem to think it's just fine for a 9 year old girl to be firing an Uzi.

My POV,

Had it been a Uzi semi-auto only, it would have been a fun burgers and gunpowder range day in sunny Arizona, and yes with a seasoned range safety officer, a 9 year old could have shot it all day safely.

Insert 'fully auto' to the Uzi picture and I wouldn't be standing next to the shooter no matter what the age, unless I knew him/her well..

After the nationally reported Massachusetts 'full auto' Uzi tragedy of 2 years ago, a mirror image repeat 'accident' is inexcusable, if not criminal.

I'll have to thank you. You're post should remind us all that the firearms instructor was merely demonstrating the proper use for an Uzi, indescriminant spraying of deadly bullets, and now that the first kill is under her belt she should have no problem shooting an actual'bad guy' to protect herself, her loved ones, and her property in the future. If he was going to let a kid fire an Uzi full auto, he need to have HIS hands firmly on the gun. And you are correct about single shot, it's like a cap gun. And I agree, with what happened here in MA, this accident should never have happened.

In today's world, with today's technology? No, not so much. It would be nice if everyone did possess that knowledge, but I don't believe it's a necessity. Why do you believe they are needed?

There is a Hispanic History Month ? I know February is black history month, because, I saw the protests that it was racism cause they got the shortest and coldest month of the year.

If property was was months, February would be the heart of the hood. There is not one Darn Holiday in the whole month in which normal (i.E your butt doesn't work for the Govt or a bank) gets a day off. There is less daylight than any month of the year. It's also the coldest month of the year. If Months could be a part of the hog July would be the ham and February would be the Foot.. Strike that. January would be the foot and February would be intestines.

Look at this .. It's so obvious that picking Feb is racist. Let's pick the most crime infested shat hole in the whole town and name it MLK, then Let's pick the one month nobody looks forward to and give it to black people.
