U.S. District Judge Anthony Ishii of Fresno said the 10-day wait for current gun owners is a restriction on constitutional rights that isn't justified by safety concerns. He noted that all firearms purchasers, including second- and third-time buyers, must pass a state background check of their criminal and mental-health records, but said it was unreasonable to make gun owners wait the full 10 days to acquire another weapon.

Thus far there have been two big rulings for California. Unfortunately, the rulings can't keep up with new infringing laws.

Not quite law yet, but yes SB 53 requires face to face ammunition purchases. You can no longer give people ammo or sell it without a vendor's license. Kills online sales etc.

It used to have background checks involved but was revised. Its clear that its a law designed to make owning and using a firearm cost prohibitive.

I also see in some parts of the country they are not giving gun shops a renewed business license Thus further making it more difficult to buy ammo. Many guns are not a popular gauge or caliber , You are just about SOL if you desire to shoot them.

Also, does anyone know the rules of bringing a (previously purchased) suppressor into the state of CA?
