I'm sorry to hear. There are some VJers who were told to send in more evidence and they were approved after they submitted them. Why did they ask for more evidence? Did you forget to take all that they requested? Are you naturalizing based on 5-yr rule or married to US citizen spouse?

I apply based on my spouse. I didn't have court disposition with my... but sounds like they will need some more evidence proving our marriage... is that possible?

Dose anyone know if I will be now waiting forever for the decision?

Dose anyone know if I will be now waiting forever for the decision?

1- If you know what they are going to ask for, start gathering the paperwork now.

2- If you don't, then wait for the Request for Evidence and start gathering the paperwork when you get the request.

3- When you send in your evidence, they will review it and make a decision. It's impossible to guess if that'll take days or months without knowing what they're asking for. You mentioned a court disposition... what was that for? It'll be helpful if you can explain what happened during the interview.

4- If you only send in some of what they're asking for, there's a chance that there'll be further delays, so do your best to give them what they want.

You'll need to provide more details... Did the IO say anything about what was wrong with the proof of marriage? Have either of you been divorced? If so, did you show proof the previous marriage(s) ended properly? Did you provide evidence showing you were married and living together the whole of the last 3 years (joint bills, taxes, bank statements, property, children together, etc)?

If "disposition" was mentioned, it may mean there was some kind of legal issue (do you have any speeding tickets, arrests, etc?). If so, you'll need to go to the courthouse to get CERTIFIED copies of each case's disposition showing that you met all of your obligations (fines, probation, community service, etc).
