That's ignorance at it's finest. I would think they would want to bury that word.

It is a weapon they've picked up, and used by other groups like the gay community. It's perfectly fine for them to use slang derogatory terms for each other, but they attack anyone else who does it as a way of implementing, ironically, racial or other bigoted privilege.

It is petty and stupid. A politically correct list of privileged words by race, by sex, by whatever discrimination is expressly disallowed by the constitution itself.

How a social group uses language amongst its members as well as members of other social groups has to do with linguistics. It's got nothing to do with the constitution.
