Hey there! I was in the same situation 2 months ago, but it was in South Plainfield, NJ. Seems like they have to manually get a response from the DHS for the verification, because your name is not yet on the current SAVE database.

Did you give your mobile number to the DMV clerk? I did and I received a call after a week informing me that my name has been verified and can then go in to take the tests. The clerk also gave me a SAVE Check Case Notice sheet with a verification case number, so I can check it myself in the uscis site.

Hi Sweet cakes, same thing happened to me on Saturday. how long did it take for DMV to respond to you? They didn't ask for my phone number, they just handed me a sheet of paper explaining the additional verification and said i'd get a letter within 30 days. Now i'm wondering if I should go back to the office and ask for the SAVE case number to track it? They didn't mention that part either.
