Yea, they are behind... I was in interview scheduling since July 30th and got my interview notice in december---so that was really long..

as for the interview--we got there about 25 mins early and they had a sign saying they were 1.5h behind schedule, so we didn't expect to be called quickly, but 20 mins after our initial appointment time, a woman came in and called me. she asked us only 3 questions... at the end she asked my the yes/no questions of the 485 and then told me that she needed to take another look at our file and if I dont hear from her within a month then I should be getting my GC. On the drive back home, I got an email saying my card was in production-about 3.5 hours after the interview was over.

We have been together for 10 years (in a couple of months) so I guess, there wasn't any doubt about our relationship. She did not ask to see any original documents, or ask for any proof of bona fide marriage. I was going to ask for a stamp if she had given us the answer right away, but by the time we got the answer we were too far away to turn around and ask one.

I have to go to Canada for the weekend, so I guess I'll see how it goes about coming back to the US. How long did it take to get your GC from the day you received your "we ordered your new card" email?

Oh and also, the weird thing is, yesterday I got the email about them ordering my new card and today, i got another email saying the same thing... on the website, it says: January 20th: we ordered your new card. and January 21st: we ordered your new card... weird... did that happen to you?

Had my interview yesterday and got approved. yay!!!!! Any advice about traveling while waiting on the green card?

Congrats on your approval. Can you please post interview experience? I had an info pass appointment yesterday there since case is still waiting to be scheduled for an interview. I was told they're behind. I'm keeping fingers really crossed hoping I get that schedule by the month end for next month interview since I really plan on traveling in March. Looks like all you guys got notices in your 5th month mark after filing. Been on interview scheduling since October 14th and it's now past 90 days. February 28th should make it 110 days or 168 days since priority date. Sigh, Seattle office!

I didn't apply for advance parole because I didn't wanna risk traveling on it since I was out of status for a couple of months post OPT before I got married. Read on avvo law forums though that F1 students typically don't acquire unlawful presence because of the technicality of the D/S status though but many attorneys there suggested I shouldn't risk it. Tricky part is I bought 2 flight tickets to visit home close to $3000 on March 10 anticipating that I should be having my interview in February (6 months) and besides if I'd waited it could've been $4000. At this point I'm kind of caught up between 2 choices, requesting my case transferred to Yakima office ( don't mind driving 2 and half hours) to attend interview there since they're so on time processing in 4months since August and I'm way past their time frames, or wait till end of the month if I'll be scheduled for February or even if I'm scheduled in March after my departure date do an info pass with flight tickets requesting an interview date a little earlier than that.

Yes, I think I received 5 notices that they ordered my new card. It came a week after the interview.

Try and get an Infopass ASAP to request an update and/or apply for AP.

CdnRN, when you got the email that your card was shipped, did you get a tracking number? I got the email at 9am on monday that they shipped my card, but still no tracking number as of now.

wow... I saw someone else on another thread who got their NOA1 at the end of june and just got an interview notice for sept 16th.. I was thinking that I was probably not far from him since I got my NOA1 about 9-10 days after him... now I'm wondering if it even matters since you sent your paperwork in May... argh....

  On February 6, 2015, your inquiry about a notice that you did not receive, referral number T1D******MSC, was assigned to an officer for response.

  Got the case update I filed the case on Aug 25th, 2014. Got my EAD/AP card last week after RFE delay. Will I get interview in Feb or Mar?

Based on your timeline, you should probably have your interview notice this month or next month since your local USCIS office in Houston last treated a case dated May 18th as of November 30th. Unless your RFE must've dragged you a little behind as well. Good luck!

It's been over a months since my interview, everything goes well, but still didn't receive green card, no update online, who can tell me what's going on???
