Green Card Error

Finally my wife's green card arrived, a little over 2 months since my family got together in US.

Bad news is, the Place of Birth on the card is wrong.

It's written as "Korea, North" but she's born in South Korea!

I've made sure all documents so far has "South Korea" or "Republic of Korea".

What's the best way to correct this? Has anyone had a similar experience?

Thanks for you help!

return it with an I-90 stating what is wrong and showing the documentation to correct it. This is a USCIS error.

Damn, that's a pretty big mistake!

As the previous poster said, return the card along with an I-90 as soon as possible.

There is no fee if it was USCIS's mistake, but you'll have to include proof that they got it wrong; something showing her correct place of birth.
