Matter of interest, did you guys fill up new n 400 forms or the old format?

And are you applying on 3 year or 5 year residency status?

The priority date for my n-400 is on May 14 2014, and my interview is going to be on October 9 at 3pm. Almost 5 month, I'm surprised because according to my lawyer and the period of wait of the Atlanta's office is 7 to 8 month (dates of interviews). I just want it to share my timeline with all you guys, and I'll keep my case posted if there is any change in about 2 weeks , after I take the interview. If somebody can add my timeline I would appreciate it.

June 5, 2014: Application mailed

June 11, 2014: Priority Date

June 11, 2014: Check cashed

June 16, 2014: Notification of Acceptance received in the mail.

August 1, 2014: Yellow letter received.

My husband and I never got any letter for biometrics. I called USCIS and filed a request two times, eventually spoke with a tier two officer who assured me that a letter was never sent out and even though it has been 5 years since I last did fingerprinting, it might still be valid for the naturalization process.

Has anyone ever been in this kind of situation?

My PR is 06/10/2014. Recived yellow letter in end of July. I didn't receive my FP so I called customer service on 8/18 so they send inquiry to field office and asked me to wait for 30 days. No FP received called them back on 9/18 spoke to 2nd tier officer and he assured me that I will get a letter in 5 days and sure enough I got letter for FP on 9/23 for 9/30 FP. FP done in Atlanta. On 10/2 got status changed to in line for interview. 5 year anniversary is on 9/1 so hopefully interview letter will come in couple of weeks.

Pls count me in Sent the package in Atlanta March03,2014 and still waiting! I'm a little nervous now because I already booked a flight to the Philippines nxt year April 2015!! Does anybody here know if I can still travel with no problem before my interview??? I have my 10yrs green card and my native passport with me of course..

In the same letter they also explained me that my case is entered in the system to issue the biometrics appointment. I got the letter first and next day I got the Biometrics appointment letter.

I just spoke with another 2nd tier officer a few minutes ago and he told me that a FP notice was mailed to me in July which I never got, neither did my husband get his. He has requested another notice to be sent to me. He told me I should get it before 10/25 so I guess I will have to wait some more.

Yay ,it looks like Atlanta,GA is moving a lil bit faster now i checked their processing timelines yesterday from December2013 to Feb.2014 now this morning!!! Good luck everybody!!
