Congratulations Sajeed! Good to hear everything worked out well.

On the other hand I completed my interview on 2/23 and was placed in-line for Oath Ceremony on 3/3, but haven't heard anything since! It's been almost 6 weeks since being placed in-line for Oath and I'm not sure if that's normal. Keep in mind that I have requested a name change so it seems scheduling a court ceremony may be the reason for this delay??

Hi Thebighash , hope you are doing great. When I got my email that she was scheduled for an oath ceremony and I waited for 2 weeks no letter show up in my mail box . Then I submit a case inquiry online , they replied me after 2 days and they did informed me of the date of oath ceremony . Going into the week of the ceremony still no letter this is when I called customer service and inquire with level 2 they did faxed me a copy of that notice ..I took it to our oath ceremony and filled the back side there. Amazingly i received her original notice today 04/13/2015 for 04/10/2015 Post mark said letter mailed on 03/27/2015 (huh) . If I was not proactive she will have missed her oath ceremony with no show . I will suggest that may be submit a case inquiry online even you request name change .Whatever replied wont hurt nothing but you will have a piece of mind knowing your oath is not scheduled yet rather than they scheduled you but that notice never reach you.

Hope you do get it soon keep us posted .

Good to know that your follow up helped your wife avoid missing her oath ceremony!

My case status has not changed since 3/3 when I was placed in-line for oath ceremony. I did not receive an email or text that my oath ceremony has been scheduled. I tried to submit a case inquiry online but the system rejected it because it is still "within normal processing times". I don't know how to cheat the system and submit one. I will call USCIS and see what happens.

Update: I just submitted a case inquiry saying that I have not received an appointment notice, and it got through. I hope someone will look at it...

I just got off the call with USCIS and there's no update. The agent couldn't give me more information than what I had already known. He wasn't even sure if the name change request is the reason that my ceremony is delayed. He said I can either call 90 days after my interview (i.e. ~5/23) or if I need more information I can schedule an Info Pass with my local office.

Received my interview notice yesterday scheduled for 05/18/2015 ready to end this long Journey. Does anyone know if USCIS Atlanta does same day oath anymore my appointment is set for 7:00am and will be coming from Alabama????

Hi there , I am 100% sure that if everything goes to plan and IO approved your case definitely you will have same day oath as you are from out of town .

I am saying this based on facts when my wife had her interview there were several applicants from Alabama and most of them did have their oath ceremony same day . Whoever did not get same day I am assuming may be a decision could not be made or they did not succeed in civic test .

Please keep us informed .

Good Morning , This is the only post office that passport walk in . I will place their address and phone number below . Its approximately 20 miles from Riverdale but if you need it in a hurry its worth the drive . If you do plan to do it tomorrow or Wednesday I can drive down there for you and write your name on the sign in sheet then you will just need to wait your turn there . I will be able to do this tomorrow or Wednesday only for this week as I am off these 2 days

Hi Gjen ,Congrats . you are on the correct thread loads of ATL interview experience as well as Oath experience in this forum . Please read through . As for your question in regards of same day Oath ceremony . YES ATL does same day OATH ceremony , it just depend on the IO if your case is straight forward and Io can request for approval and oath ceremony same day .

I have to wait till after Memorial Day (after 5/24) to call again and open a case. I've been in line for oath for more than 60 days and I did my interview 71 days ago, but still not oath ceremony scheduled

The next court ceremony (I have a name change) is on 5/15 so I still have a chance to be scheduled next week. The one after that is 6/12 and then they skip July so the following one is 8/14............. Hopefully I'll get mine scheduled in May or June as I'm planning a vacation in August

Congrats . I am so happy that you almost done ; You will receive a mail from USCIS In regards to your inquiry . Along with that notice there will be a copy of your oath appointment . This notice will be in your mail box within a day or two. Don't panic in case the actual oath ceremony letter does not make it on 05/25/2015 . You will be able to take your inquiry notice to your oath ceremony .

Lol don't pay too much attention to online status . My wife online status still said interview scheduling lol

Rather unusual and really great that they told you the date of the ceremony! As the previous poster said, even if you don't get your letter in time, you can still show up!
