Finally, I got some movement too!! Since filing N400 in April 2013: I had 2 infopasses, several status calls, 2 biometrics and finally involving a senator when I got the email saying I am placed in line for oath on Jan 5th.

Now from in line to the actual oath..I am hoping it won't take another 2 years.

Oath ceremony done on Tuesday (Jan 6). Everything went well and took about 2 hrs (from getting to the venue to leaving the venue). My appointment was 7.30am and the only advise I have for those waiting is to plan to arrive about 20 minutes before your scheduled time. There were so many people at the entrance (mostly guests) trying to check in and it took me about 20 minutes to get into the building (7.40am).

It has been great being a part of this forum and I appreciate all the suggestions and kind replies to my postings. I wish everyone still waiting all the best.

Thank you all.

By the way, my husband is scheduled for oath ceremony Jan. 16 at a different center (National Center for Civil and Human Rights) while mine was at the uscis district office.

Hi when and what time is your interview? I was actually hoping they still do oath taking the same day like you because I live 4hrs and 30mins away from Atlanta which is a long drive for us!

We await the results from your interview. I trust it is great news ...

Hi Guys ,We just got home from a long 4hrs drive , my interview went well and I passed it now just waiting for my oath taking letter! Some of the questions the lady officer asked me are: 1. Name one longest rivers in the US

2.when was the Declaration of Independence adopted? 3.who lived in America before Europeans arrived? 4.name the Speaker of the house representative now? 5.what was one important thing Abraham Lincoln did? 6.first ten amendments.. Good luck to everyone who has an upcoming interview!

Cool. Ours is at 7:20 AM so i assume we will be the first batch in. Seems like it is a first come first serve system in regards to the priority number?
