In general: photography is my hobby, and as a matter of principle I do not throw away photos - unless thay are simply bad photos. Yes, I have plenty of photos of my female friends. I do not hang them on my walls, though. My portfolio is where they belong.

I would not expect my wife to get rid of photos of her exes, if there were any. It would be a sign of insecurity.

I usually get drunk and burn things. Not much to show on my end :)

I found tons of stuff in Mels house! His wedding photo albums, pictures of him and other girls naked. Cassette tapes with his old girlfriends talking dirty. The pics and stuff were pretty old, but they really p issed me off. Mel is suck a pack rat, he throws nothing out.

None to dispose of.

I had been (though not formally) engaged between August 1994 and July 1995 to a (Hindu Tamil) woman in Bangalore; at the time, I worked on a TN-1. Between those times, the following occured:

  1. I became a Christian (1994-10-30), but didn't break off immediately (to my discredit, but I have to admit this)
  2. I was unable to make a planned trip to India in Dec 1994-Jan 1995
  3. I had to change jobs (and get new TN-1)
  4. I visited INS office in Atlanta where I was advised that the US Consulates in India would be unlikely to issue a dependent visa for a TN-1's spouse
  5. found out from a lawyer that a GC would take YEARS to process (started process in Feb 1996 with another lawyer who botched it--and only got GC in 1999)

At that point, I broke off the engagement (the scripturally obedient move), returning all letters and photos.
