US citizen just moved to US to start I-130 process

Good day,

I had a few questions, I am a US born citizen however I had been living in El Salvador for the last 20+ years. I just moved back and have got a job and Im renting. I wanted to start filling for my wife and son, however I had a few doubts if anyone could help me out.

I am earning more than enough in order to process the affidavit of support, however, Ive never filled taxes before how will this afect my case? Will I definitly need a co.sponsor?

Im sure this is somewhere but I havent had a clear answer (or maybe Im reading the data wrong) what is the wait time on the I-130 right now approximately?

Finally I had to move once since I came to the country will that afect my case in anyway? I already updated my information at DMV.

Assuming you worked overseas, you were required to file taxes (not necessarily pay them however) So I'd visit an accountant now-ish.

Plan on 8-12 months for your visa to be issued from the time of filing the petition.

April 15, 2014 APPROVED. Wait for oath ceremony

Waited...

September 29, 2015 - sent letter to senator.

October 16, 2015 - US Citizen
