I believe at least you need an EAD to get a driver license, as far as I know.

Driver license requirements differ from state to state. I was able to get mine with my social and passport and I-94 (think that was what it was called)

Check the FL DMV website for their requirements for obtaining a Dl. Here in CO anybody can now get a DL--even illeg...er undocumented people living in the US. So it really depends on what your state will allow.
