We got the visa same after some problems at the interview. The consul was very hard and tried very much to confuse us. We will post in the review. I think if Luke was not here I would face a stressfull interview.

We saw Rey, Alex and Marcela at the consulate and will let them share their news with you.

we are very happy

We thank you so much for all your support and this thread.

Hey guys! We got the visa!!!!

CONGRATS ROSANA AND LUKE! It sounds like you guys had a similar experience to ours. I too was glad I went because the people who went in alone before us came out with red slips. The Con Off was kind of a jerk and made a big deal out of a lot of little things. He was probably doing his job, but it was scary. He accused Rey of lying on his J1 visa paperwork and tried trick him into saying he didn't dislose information (but luckily we were able to disprove that). I was fairly sure we were denied til he got out the green slip.

Now what happened with Marcela?

Great news!

Hope you have a bit of a "pre-honey moon" here and a nice flight back to the US, you three. (F)
