AOS Question

Okay, so I originally sent in my AOS with the I-130 and now my husbands paperwork is at NVC and I paid the AOS fee of $88 and now they want me to mail it in with a cover sheet they've provided for me. Is this normal? They should already have the AOS, they really need it again?

Help?

hi

of course, you shouldn't have sent the AOS with the i130, they go to 2 different centers, the AOS and the rest of the forms are for the NVC stage

the i130 was sent to a different center, you didn't pay for the i864, it is paid and sent at the NVC stage

send everything you sent again because they don't have it

Sam,

Jordan is one of the countries uses electronic processing only( as I was told by the NVC agent)

I did a mistake by sending my AOS package via MAIL and it was denied! 5 weeks later my package was returned back to me and I was advised by the NVC to RE-send it electronically by E-mail.

I'm wondering, have you e-mailed the AOS cover sheet in the first place with the AOS package?

if not, I suggest you call the NVC office and make sure if they want you to e-mail or mail the missing docs.

pls let me know how things are going!

Many thanks

Oh, thanks for reminding me! I was going to mail it out! I'll call tomorrow as soon as they're open and ask them and I'll come back and tell you what they say.

Thanks so much for the responses!
