What you mean the fact that they hire thousands of people and pay them above minimum wage and they have share options and many other benafits that most other chain store dont offer to their employees?

How many local mom and pop stores offer equal benafits for their workers?

You opposed to free market?

I thought that was one of the things about our home land that makes america great.

You think McDonalds or BurgerKing has good medical and dental for their employees? NOT!!!!!

I would like to see proof that WalMart offers benefits that other chain stores don't offer because everything I've read and heard indicates otherwise.

I'd also like to see proof that McDonalds & Burger King provide medical and dental that's less adequate than WalMart.

The "get Wallmart" attacks have been going on for a long time and it is 100% political. This is just the latest BS attack. And it's you my friend that are 100% wrong about Wallmart. They are the worlds biggest retailer for a reason. A LOT of people shop there and that is because they provide the best products at the best price. They aren't holding a gun to anyones head to shop there or to work there. If you don't like Wallmart then don't shop there.

No, you're trying to make it political. My decision to not shop there has nothing to do with my political views.

Yes, they are the biggest retailer for a reason. The reason is they import more foreign product than any other retailer and they bully their vendors like no other.

Without satisfied customers and willing workers they wouldn't be the biggest. The sad facts of life are this: the biggest gets the best deal. That is life. Sorry you don't realize that as with life the strongest business survives. It's the same with everything else the libs want to do. Protect the weak and the underachievers and take away all reason to work hard to succeed. If you believe in evolution then apply it here. What happens if you artificially stop the survival of the fittest? You doom yourself to extinction.

They have anything you need from furniture to grocerys and have a very good variety.

I just completed our baby's nursery using everything from walmart Paint, crib, wall boarder and all the little accesories to complete the job and i only went to 1 store.

I think that most people that bash walmart are the type that think they are above walmart customers like they are too good for walmart.

They think if they spend a few dollars more for the products they are buying they are getting better quality but walmart has all the big name brands and i think they have much better merchandise than some of the highend stores.

I'll give you that WalMart is very convenient in that they have a wide selection. However, they have the same name brands other stores have - nothing special there. Their non-branded stuff is cheap 'Made in China' merchandise. The same can be found in Target, Kmart, etc so again nothing special there.

They also have a lot of registers making it easy to check out. Oh wait, there's usually only 25% of the registers open leaving long lines anyway. There's almost always skids of product sitting in main aisles and the product aisles are narrow making it difficult to pass with carts. The product aisles are usually messy usually messy as well. Enjoy the link below to some example images of your beloved WalMart...

No No NO read what i said :) I said your small minded for telling ppl over and over they are wrong for shopping at walmart, or telling them whats wrong with them for shopping there. Fine you have your opinion on walmart, you hate walmart, woo hoo good for you, but dont target ppl who do not agree with your hatred on walmart

I never said anyone is wrong for shopping at WalMart. It's freedom of choice there. I choose not to. My point is to those who say WalMart is good for the community and good for this country as a whole. They are not. Studies have proven that and people that I know have given me some insight on how they deal with (bully) their business partners.

Go ahead and Google WalMart and Rubbermaid together and let me know what you think about that deal okay?

I don't know what stores you go to but every Walmart I have ever been in has been well stocked, clean and fully staffed. Those pics suspiciously look a lot like pics I have seen in the aftermath of a rush due to an approaching storm.

Yes, they have the same stuff as Target and Kmart but they have more of it at a cheaper price. Blast all you want but you can't argue with success.

Yes all the walmarts i go to also are neatly stocked and clean. Obviously when you only look at website photos you will never be able to voice a true opinion on anything until you actually see it in person.

and since when do website photos ACTUALLY show the truth of ANYTHING.

take me to a walmart that looks like that and ill give you the benefit of the doubt, until then, im gonna go take my lunch break and swing by walmart while im at it :)

You've already stated that you love WalMart and you don't care how they do it. Well, I do and I don't care if I'm in the minority. I will not support a business organization that does what they do.

Wrong. I (sadly) live within walking distance of a WalMart. US19 & Alderman road if you don't believe me. The store is a mess - floors and product aisles The aisles are narrow and cramped and the main aisles have skids of product down them 100% of a time.

I find it funny that you dismiss the photos of that site though. I'm not saying they're 100% accurate or even an example of WalMart stores as a whole. However, if I know WalMart's lawyers they'd sue to get those images taken down if they were false.

I still (L) Walmart!!

I have been to a lot of other stores that look similar to those Walmart pictures ..... Kmart for example... ugh....

not sure why everyone seems to like to gang up on Walmart... some of us can't afford to shop at those fancy mall stores.... and I must say that even if I did have the money I probably would still shop at Walmart.....

The Wal-Mart near where I live is a mess. Sloppily piled shelves, mud in the aisles, poorly lit.

The one near my parents house is a temple to perfect American consumerism. Clean, brightly lit.

Difference? Income of the surrounding areas. Target does the same thing (surely I can't be the only one who's heard jokes about whether the Target is a Targét or a Targhetto?)

Democrats and welfare? Well hello Mr. Stereotype! As far as Republicans, I guess we should all have been happy with the job the they did with control of the 3 branches...?

And I'm a registered Republican. That said, I haven't voted that way since Ronald Reagan. I'll be switching my party on my voters ID before the next election.
