Can you guys help me out please?!.. i know this is the wrong category but i was wondering if any of you had a derivative beneficiary in a similar situation:

My mother petitioned my older brother when he was 19 years old and he was placed under the F2A category but due to the slow processing of NVC he turned 21. SOmetime earlier this year his case was converted from f2a to f2b and my mother requested a review by the NVC. AFter this his case was switched back to F2a. Today he received his interview letter and he still under the f2a category even though he is now 22. DO u think the consulate will deny him a visa because he aged out, even though NVC reviewed the case and switched him back to F2A?

please reply! thank you

I don't think your brother has anything to worry about. If he has been called for an interview, then he will not have aged out. The embassy/consulate would have determined if he had aged out and would not be wasting their time calling him for an interview if he was ineligible for a visa.

Priority date 9th December 2004. Interview email received 31/08/2016. Medicals completed 12/09/2016 and received 20/09/2016. Interview done at Montreal on 03/10/2016. Visas issued 17th November 2016. Passports received 21/11/2016.
