I am hoping someine can help as i am a little confused as to when i should make any furure calls to NVC for interview date- i have not called anyone yet as my priority date is April 2005 (F3)...but for those with the February prioirtry date is it possible you make the calls now without your date being current

no it would have no gain to call nvc now they should told you to observe the visa bulletin so when your priority date come closer to the current date then start calling date shiuld close to 4 weeks

From my experience, there's no point in calling NVC until your pd actually becomes current. They will only tell you the "current" pd as what they see on the last visa bulletin. If you're going to call, I'd suggest leaving it until the last week of the month before the new visa bulletin comes out.
