I need some help on a mix up on my part. I filled out the i130 and it has already been approved ,but i put my sons name ex: (first)Billy (middle)Bob (last)Johnson but when my wife saw the acceptance letter she realized that i filled out the form wrong. it should be ex: (first) Billy Bob (middle) Jimmy (last) Johnson. i left out her last name on accident. I contacted the visa center and was told to send in the proper way to have then name listed ( i just sent in copy of the acceptance letter with correct spelling) as well as my case number. Has anyone else made a major flub as this? and also, was i told correctly how to resolve the issue as to not have a big paperwork mix up in the future..thanks!
