Hey all, Well i called yesterday regarding expediting my EAD due to my wife loosing her job due to not qualifying for FMLA, I have a job offer and a new born son, I applied for my EAD and AOS july 8th (date USCIS received it)

it had not moved along at all so i with the job offer i called to expedite, spoke to a lovely lady however she said it will take 30 days to recieve a response, now im wondering, is that normal, most people on here say they were told 5 days??? and with the time i have left on my EAD was it really worth trying to expedite??

oh btw i did bio-metrics 8/5/14 (non walk-in)
