i just wanna ask if you already recieved email from nvc they will the review the documents?

nov. 06 2013 -i 130

nov.18 2013-noa1

may 21 2013-noa2

june 20 2014- recieved nvc

july 2 2014- case number and iin assigned

july 9 2014- recieved email from nvc

july 17 2014-paid aos and iv bill

july 18 2014- recieved aos and iv bill

july 22 2014- ds260 completed

july 25 2014- send package aos and iv

july 30 2014- recieved the package

sept 22 revieved email from nvc indicate that we have a checklist on part 3..

sept23-aos checklist sent

sept 24 aos and iv scan

nov 14 case complte

nov 21 recieved email confirmation of case complte

dec 2 & 3 medical done ?

dec 3 schedule interview

reschedule the interview jan 09

visa approved and issued ??????

visa in hand jan 20 2015

July 17 scan date, case complete on September 8, 2014.

Awaiting the cc email and interview date........

Congrats! So yours took less than the planned 60 days to complete? Mine was scanned into the system on July 22, yet to get a completion notice. Hopefully soon.

I just called and the guy told me that the IV application has already been reviewed and the AOS has not been reviewed yet. So when are they gonna review our AOS? Is it another 60 days for the AOS? Are they not reviewing it on the same time? Is there somebody here went through the same thing? This is really getting more frustarating :(

Yes, they were send together. The guy told me they received 2 packets on july 16.

It's very difficult to understand how NVC work. Most times it appears they are not paid to do the work. If both documents were received and entered same day, under a normal circumstance they ought to have reviewed both same day.

I recieved the 60 day email for a second time. Can any one tell me what is a good time to start calling the NVC. My RFE scan date 9/03/2014.

Do they still need the full 60 day just to review one paper? I had the number for line 13a on the AOS incorrect. I also sent the IV and AOS together and I only received a checklist for the AOS, does that mean my IV package was OK?

Actually our lawyer send those packets and I believe that they were send together as the guy just said that NVC received 2 packets. Maybe I called a little early? Maybe they are now reviewing our AOS. I will call them again before they close.

looks like average is 54 day turnaround..

My delay notice was marked as application received on July-15, and it was reviewed yesterday on September 8th.

Unfortunately, RFE due to AoS application missing or mistaken info... Will find out in an email within 3-5 business days... Just effin great..

Congratulations! Glad to see some movement. It sure does give hope to those who are still waiting, me included.

Actually our lawyer send those packets and I believe that they were send together as the guy just said that NVC received 2 packets. Maybe I called a little early? Maybe they are now reviewing our AOS. I will call them again before they close.

You may have to confirm with your lawyer also when was the actual date they sent your AOS packet, if you're not sure if they sent it on the same day.

You could keep calling them, or ask for a supervisor, or wait for the 60th day which is on the 20th of this month.

My parents interview date is October 3 :) I just called few mins ago and they just assigned the interview schedule today.

CITIZENSHIP 06-19-2013 Sent N400 Application (Chicago Lockbox)


06-21-2013 USCIS received my N400 application


06-25-2013 USCIS mailed the NOA1


06-28-2013 USCIS mailed the Biometrics appt


07-01-2013 Received NOA1 and Biometrics appt letter


​07-15-2013 Biometrics Appt.


08-27-2013 Interview/Test passed


10-07-2013 Oath taking


IR-5 MOM AND DAD


02-20-2014 mailed I-130 for my parents


02-24-2014 USCIS received the I-130 docs


03-17-2014 USCIS approved the petition (took 15 days, weekdays only)


03-25-2014 USCIS shipped the approved case to NVC


04-02-2014 NVC received the papers (6 days from the approval date)
