My parents interview the other was okay. I dont wanna say its approved yet but they took their passports however the medical results was not forwarded to the USEM (they took their medical last June 2014) and when it comes to my father, they asked for a letter of explanation from the NBI and a new NBI clearance with his "aka" old name.

Im a little frustrated since there's no time frame since i did some research here and i saw a lot of same experience (NBI letter of explanation) and it took them 2 - 4 weeks for them before they got their visa.

Hi All,

Maybe there is hope for everyone I sent my AOS around 9/20 is once the AOS was accepted, I received o 9/23 stating that "we are currently receiving an increased number of approved petitions fro U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and so on..... We expect it will be at least 60 days....."

But on Oct 2 2014 my IV Fees was approved and now I'm completing the DS-260.

Hi all,

I have submitted AOS document on August 6th, and DS261 document on September 17th. Its been 60 days today since I submitted AOS document, still did not hear anything from NVC. So I called NVC today they are saying I have to wait 60 days from the 2nd document they received. I called twice both time they told me same thing. other people got replied 60 days from the date of AOS document they submitted. Is the rules changed. Any one know anything about that.

Yep. See this topic for a discussion about it:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/516944-new-way-pakages-are-being-reviewed-as-starting-today/

It sucks for those of us who submitted docs under the old procedure.

If that is true, then NVC is now down to 51 days instead of 60. But it's too early for us (who are still waiting) to celebrate yet.

So my last scan date was 7/30/2014 and this is the checklist that I got on 9/23/2014

I had sent AOS and IV in ONE package in different envelopes but they say they do not have the IV package!

So I called NVC today and they said they still cannot locate it and that I have to sent ORIGINAL birth certificate and ORIGINAL marriage certificate along with a certified translated copy of each!

Has anyone sent ORIGINALS? Imagine if I had sent it earlier they would have lost it...

Any thoughts?

AND of course I forgot to put N/A on part 3 on the form I-864EZ...another 60 days! Just for future reference for anyone that gets a checklist for this part...if the address is the same just put N/A on ALL LINES.
