I'm torn. It's been 2 months after POE. I called USCIS today and found out that USPS delivered it on Aug 7 which I have never received. Since we moved 3 months ago, I tried to ask which address it was sent to. But they were not allowed to tell me. I was transferred to talk to a tier 2 person and now on the line (wait time i was told is 50 min, omg). I read the old forums that if USPS status is delivered, I have to request a replacement card and the $400 fee is on me!! This is driving me crazy. Has anyone have the same problem?

Did you file using the old address?

After you moved, did you notify them of new address?

Did you submit change of address with USPS?

Have you checked with local USPS office that delivers to your old address?

I wonder if it sat inside your old address mailbox for a while,

and later postman eventually just took it back and returned it as deliverable???

I notified USCIS by filling the online form here. https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/displayCOAForm.do

I got an email notifying the address update from USCIS. But the address did not appear on the ELIS account created when paying the immigration fee. There was no physical address on file there. But obviously the card was mailed on Aug 5 somewhere. After telling my current address to the Tier 2 staff, she didn't say anything like it's not the address they mailed. It WAS sending to the right address OR she didn't have it on record on which address USPS sent to. She was being offended the whole time. All I wanted was just to figure out what was going on exactly but she was not helping. She told me that the package was too large to place in my mailbox and it was my responsibility to go find it at USPS local office. So I was confused if it was delivered or not. The first person I spoke to said the status was "delivered" while the other person said the post person tried to deliver but was unsuccessful.

I'm going to the local USPS office tomorrow and will call the old address as well. Your guess might be right that it was there.

I thought I got done with the inefficient USCIS but I was totally wrong!

It is official lost! It was not at the old address. I went to USPS and they checked the status for me. There are more activities after the delivered status. The USPS person had no idea what those mean. But she told me to wait for 10 days. I hope it means something like it is being returned after being sent to the wrong address. I scheduled an infopass tomorrow. Hopefully I know its whereabout from that.
