Hi!

I have an interview @ Federal Plaza, New York NY on 09/15/14 at 2 PM and was wondering how much of a wait I'd be looking at for my oath letter / ceremony if my application is approved on the spot.

Thank you.

Go through the monthly forums and see if you can find people who went through your field office and who have received their oath letters.

For example, there's an applicant in the January 2014 group who applied through the New York office and was interviewed on 06/02/14 and had his oath scheduled for 06/19/14.

That should give you an idea of what to expect.

Tip: for each month, go to the last page and work backwards; that'll give you the latest information.

According to USCIS, the NY field office does not do same-day oath ceremonies.
