Dear visa journey members. My husband and I are getting ready to send my I751 and I am stuck about what tax forms to send. We have been married since 2010, but we were living in my country and only came to the US in 2012 on a cr1 visa. My husband filed his 2010 taxes without mentioning me as we had just got married at that time. In 2011 he filed (married filing jointly) and then 2012 and 2013 same thing. My question is should we include transcripts from 2011 as well in our packet, or the 2 years since I became a permanent resident is sufficient. My concern is I was not living in the US at that time, but my name is on it as filing jointly. We didn't end up owing or taking any money since he was living abroad anyways.

Also, when you send state returns, do you just send print out from turbo tax?

Yes include 2011.

You can ask your husband to login to the IRS website where he can get "Tax return Transcript", that's all you need.

day 16 -- 04/23/2014 -- Walk-in Bio.

day 197 -- 10/20/2014-- Approval Letter received dated 10/16/2014

day 202 -- 10/25/2014-- GC received
