First Interview-Do i need a legal help? please help (i-130,i-485)

Hello guys,

My case is a little bit complicated.

My wife(F-1) and I(US Citizen) are married very recently after being together for 2 years.

We have not had the ceremony yet, but we got our marriage certificate and started our AOS process, so my wife will no longer have to continue her F-1 visa.

My wife has graduated a college in a different state and we saw each other while she was visiting San Francisco before she leaves to her motherland.

We then started to go out and I wanted her to stay longer and we found a school in LA which you can just continue your F-1 visa standing without going there.

She expanded her visa standing through here for a year.

Then she went to authentic school to prepare herself for GRE for about a half more year to continue her visa.

We saw each other's parents and got a permission to start our AOS process before the ceremony and we are to have a wedding ceremony early next year.

I personally filed i-130 and i-485 along with travel doc and work permit doc and now we have our first interview.

Do you think it is necessary to hire a lawyer for 1 year of not a valid visa standing to stay in America?

I appreciate you reading my concern and possible help/opinion in regards to this matter.

Day 6 (1/9/18) Walk-in biometrics in Fort Worth, TX

Day 341 (12/10/18) Interview was scheduled for 1/14/19

Day 376 (1/14/19) Interview

Day 385 (1/23/19) Denied

Day 400 (2/7/19) Denial revoked; N-400 approved; oath ceremony set for 2/14/19

Day 407 (2/14/19) Oath ceremony in Dallas, TX
