Good-afternoon, a question about the interview fee. I am seeing a lot of information that is stating that for the interview we have to pay a visa application fee with nothing being stated about an interview fee. Are these one and the same? I know that when I submitted the application to USCIS that I had to pay the visa app fee, now do we have to pay that same fee again or is the interview fee a different amount? I am just a bit confused and just want to make sure I have all the correct information. Thank you for the help.

Hello, please fill in your timeline.

There are different fees but not an interview fee.

There is the petition one, medical, police report and visa and delivery.

I'm assuming you mean the actual visa payment, but that's paying for the visa not for the interview.

Welcome to the forum.

You ask a good and often-asked question. The initial K1 visa petition fee is $340, the subsequent K1 visa application fee is $240. Follow the specific instructions for payment details.

The interview fee you are referring to is the visa application fee (current cost: $240). This is indeed different from the $340 petition fee which you initially paid in the I-129f petition as noted by A&B above.

For Manila, here's the payment instructions and current PH peso equivalent chart: http://ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-visafeeinfo.asp

Just a heads up, there is also the medical fee ($223): http://www.slec.ph/us-visa-applicants.shtml#medical-fees
