Hello everyone. Does the petitioner has to also fill up the form G-325? Or only the beneficiary? Will appreciate your help. Thank you.

Please add your timeline, without it, its hard to tell what you are doing.

BTW, I just read the rejection cases on USCIS site, and one of them was

for using the wrong G-325/G-325A, and when they received the RFE

they continue to send the wrong one and they got denied.

So, note that there is G325 and G325A.

What processing are you doing, and have you double checked

which should be used?

Just trying to ensure that you are submitting the correct one.

Good luck.

More edits...Ok I see AOS on your posting title...

If so, I think you need to used G325A and not G325.

Yes...that's huge distinction to make...

And adding a timeline will help to get your proper answers.

Sometimes, if people can't figure out quickly what you are up to,

they will pass up on answering your post.

We are adjusting from K1.

You won't need to provide the USC spouse's birth certificate on your AOS, as his citizenship has already been proven during the I-129f - K1 visa process.

You won't need to provide the USC spouse's birth certificate on your AOS, as his citizenship has already been proven during the I-129f - K1 visa process.

This can be a point of confusion, on page 4 of the Form I-485 instructions, it certainly implies that only the alien spouse has to complete a G-325A:

http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-485instr.pdf

However from personal experience, at my wife and stepson's AOS interview, I was curtly asked by the IO to fill out (another) G-325A (and sternly told to not sign it unless in the IO's presence!). I had filled one out with my initial I-129f visa petition filing about 13 months prior, and nothing had changed in the ensuing months. I complied, per his request, but still personally question the necessity of the demand; remembering the initial reason for our interview. BTW, the entire AOS interview was best described as "mirky," with approval only coming several hours after we had gotten a "will contact you in 10-14 days with a RFE or decision" comment from the IO.

YMMV,

Good luck on your immigration journey.
