Congrats for getting the visa... m stressed out. Visa interview is next week. I hope things get resolved by that time...waited for a long time for this...

Hope you don't get affected by any of this! I think it should all be cleared up in the next 2-4 days, max.

I mean, things can't go on like this.

Also, I seriously hope they keep the embassy open for interviews now, because the more they cancel, the greater the backlog. Who knows what new dates we'll all be assigned :(

Got it off of this page: http://islamabad.usembassy.gov/contact.html

But, note that the guy who picks up is really not very helpful, and doesn't have much patience. He's been rude to be one time, and just hung up on me after he was done giving me his spiel the second.

I called that number and they ask me to hold and connect me to the automated voice system that basically says that they dont accept phone call inquiries. :ranting:

This situation better end soon. I am so sick of waiting.

2016-12-08- Motion to reconsider denied

Now starting the whole process again and refilling I-485.

UGH that's so frustrating!!!!

But you know what, this situation really can't last much longer. Hopefully, InshAllah you'll get your passport back soon. In the mean time, distract yourself with planning the move and so on (without booking tickets).

At least you know your visa is approved and printed and currently sitting inside your passport somewhere :)
