My wife and I sent off everything for the I-130 around 5 months ago.

Our case was recieved on March 26th 2014, at the Nebraska Service Centre.

We sent of the forms regarding the spouse of a US citizen.

How long will it be until we will hear something back?

The USCIS site says the processing times are at 5 months.

After that, how long do you think it will take before I am back in the United States?

I've been reading things online, and everything says something different. I'm just looking for some answers so I know how long/what to expect in the (hopefully) near future?

Any help, I am extremely grateful for.

When I look at the USCIS tracking, it says we are in the Initial Review.

Yeah, we received the NOA1 around the end of March.

After that. I think YOU have to wait more 4 or 5 months at the NVC. for the interview.

I think so. I know that it takes a while for the NVC to receive it, or for you to receive anything in return once they have? I can't remember if I read it takes about a month, or three.

Is there a way we can keep in contact, so I am able to know how yours goes and what the process is like? It would be very helpful :)

We got our NOA1 at the beginning of March, and according to the Nebraska statistics it takes around 5 months, so I'm expecting the NOA2 soon. But I'm surprised it takes so long after the NOA2 to receive the package of materials from the NVC. Is that normal, that it takes 4-5 months before you receive the NVC's paperwork to be filled out? How much longer after that does it take to get the interview? We are doing this from Finland, so the interview will be at the embassy here. (Luckily, I've heard that the Helsinki Embassy is superefficient and fast)
