Signed documents for K1

My fiancé lives in Guatemala and I'm preparing to submit the paperwork for the I-129F. I noticed there are a number of documents that require his signature. He doesn't have access to a printer or scanner and lives in a small town where other people do not have access either.

Any suggestions for how people are completing this requirement?

Welcome to the forum.

The letter of intent and the Form G-325A have to be original documents with the original signature. Many folks utilize postal services or courier services to obtain those completed documents.

I am the beneficiary... What i did is i sent my letter of intent (date and signed), my form G325A (date and signed) and my 2x2 passport photo (with my full name,signed and date at the back of the photo) through LBC...

What part of Guatemala does your fiancé live? Those signatures need to be authentic so she should mail the documents to you... There are cafe internet all over Guatemala send her the documents just for her/him to print and sign and then he/she cand send it to you through El Correo guatemaltec, we used it a few times when used to live there and it works although it is kinda slow,.

That should do it from your side.

Though not always necessary, the US Citizen should make a copy of the entire I-129F packet,

and send you a copy.

After I-129F is approved, it will move to K1 visa processing on beneficiary side,

and since I-129F will take months...start studying K1 visa side of the processing.

I thought I was doing that...but I was bit information overloaded,

and still missed the fine details, and it costed us about

4 to 6 weeks in self-inflicted delay (and not by USCIS).
