Haitian Timeline Estimate after being received at Consulate

Hello,

I've been reading all of VJ and have noticed that Haitian filers have very little information about the process after it reaches the Haitian Consulate. I just reached this stage and have been a little overwhelmed by the 93 day estimate from case received to visa approved that VJ had posted (though the last time I checked the 3 month average it said 63 days). I need a little more information than that and a way to track how my case is doing so I did a little research. I used the timeline function and did a search for any Haitian filers who got their approval from the NVC after January 1, 2013. There are only 9 of us currently and two of us are just starting the process and another didn't fill out anymore of their timeline. So I'm basing all of my numbers off of six cases - so just a little drop in the bucket.

There seems to be five stages after the Consulate receives your case:

Stage One: Packet 3 Received by Beneficiary

Stage Two: Packet 3 Completed and Submitted

Stage Three: Packet 4 Received by Beneficiary

Stage Four: Interview

Stage Five: Visa Received by Beneficiary

Length to complete:

Stage One:

Shortest: 7 days

Average: 24 days

Longest: 39 days

Stage Two:

Shortest: 11 days

Average: 26 days

Longest: 48 days

Stage Three:

Shortest: 9 days

Average: 19 days

Longest: 29 days

Stage Four:

Shortest: 9 days

Average: 20 days

Longest: 41 days

Stage Five: (only 4 people completed this tab)

Shortest: 8 days

Average: 21 days

Longest: 46 days

As you'll notice, there is a big gap between shortest and longest in each stage. No case consistently recieved the shortest or the longest processing. Stage two is the one that the Beneficiary has some influence over how long it will take. The rest are dictated by the Consulate. If your process is EXACTLY average according to my data it will take 110 days from received to visa in hand. But you aren't average and neither am I, so just use this data as a general framework to track how your case is going and to encourge you that progress is progressing. I didn't do any research on AP because AP is a beast all to itself.
