Unfortunately, the few that let the power and authority go to their heads ruin it for the rest.

While i agree there are many that do a good job, the majority I am sure , I think it is more than just a few. The advent of the "everyone has a camera: age, is exposing some really bad behavior out there

CAUGHT ON TAPE: Cop Saves Choking Woman During Traffic Stop

Unfortunately, I see this turning in to another 100 page thread.

I do seem to have a knack for starting the long threads. This one probably has a 50/50 chance of getting modified.

I've already reported that post and asked that it be removed. That's obviously a sock puppet account of yours.

This may be a VJ first. As I said before. I have enough trouble stringing together a post with my own account. I ain't got time for a sock puppet

Orient Road jail. I remember this one. Got tons of coverage. It's a damn old story, though. Not exactly a current event.

And the deputies involved not only (contrary to the link you provided) lost their jobs - the deputy that tossed the guy out of his wheelchair was arrested and prosecuted.

Not exactly how these things go down in a police state.
