i applied for an SSN on the 30 of june i haven't received anything from the SSN office so i called last thursday to ask what's going on and the rep said that it's still pending they're still waiting on USCIS to confirm my info but i already received the EAD so i should of got the SSN by now
what should i do ?
should i go the office and ask ?
should i call and ask for a manager ?

my wife waited for month and half after entering usa and nothing came in mail

we went to local office and with in 5 days she had her card.

Every case is different but I did learn through our process some things from our local Social Security Office:

Typically they wait 60 days before you can go in and apply at the local office. Reason: Because people select that little check box saying to let the SSN be applied for as part of processing your papers, they found people were getting 2 or in some cases 3 different SSN's. This was causing a great deal of issues and problems with cleaning up names and SSN's. So our local office has a policy to wait 60 days before you can apply in person.

Once we applied we had the card within 14 days.

Hi!Hope you can answer my question.Went to ssa yesterday and was given this letter saying they will verify the info with dhs/uscis and it can take up to a month again.Is this the same with your case?Someone messed up my first name by adding my middle name to it so it became a mismatch of immig records.

August 25,2014 Went to SSA to see what's going on with my SSC- SAVE has my middle name together with my first name.

August 28,2014 ELIS went from ACCEPTED TO OPTIMIZED IN PROCESS (INITIAL REVIEW)

September 2 Called local ssa and was told SSC was mailed/Elis says Green CARD production has begun

September 4,2014-received ssc

September 8,2014- green card mailed/closed on elis

September 9,2014- green card received yahooo!!

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS

Mailed Packet: 4/29/2016

NOA1: 5/2/2016

Bio Appt: 6/1/2016

Approval:2/13/2017

Received 10 year green card:2/17/2017

I just called SSN and they said there is nothing they can do, after a month of waiting and no SSN.

what should i do ?
she gave me DHS's contact number i don't think i'm allowed to ask for those kind of request ( to rush them)
