Essentially, the same as for you. He can mention a petition has already been filed for you and request an expedite so the two join up and you can travel together.

He has to file for an I-130 Unmarried son over 21

I kinda think this son is under 21?

Your spouse will file the I-130 for his stepson as he did for you. He should include copies of the receipts for your case and request the stepson's case be expedited and joined with your case so the two of you can interview together.

You need a copy of the child's birth certificate, copy of your marriage certificate, form G325A for your husband only, copy of your husband's passport/birth certificate...and I think that's it.

Everything that is needed is in the I-130 instructions by the way.

Make sure you will have authorization the child's father to take the child to live abroad.

this only matters in the Philippines if the father is on the birth certificate. If they are not, then no authorization is needed from the other parent.
