I received the notice for my biometrics appointment in Honolulu. I live on another island. I am planning to fly to Honolulu in the early morning and come back in the evening. I think it would make my trip much easier if I have a phone with me. But on the notice it is said that no cell phones are permitted. I am wondering if anyone had the similar situation before. Could I bring my cell phone into the office with power off or is there any lockers around the USCIS office?

For the biometrics, I left it in the car...but a friend of mine that came with me, brought her phone and they let her in with it. Even at the interview, they let me in with the phone, but it was turned off. Just have it turned off when you go through the security check.

Rent a car and drive it to the appointment. Leave your phone in the car while at the appointment.
