Both my fiancee and I do not stress ourselves or each other out over things that we don't have complete control over. Therefore, we patiently accepted our processing time. But we did double and triple check over everything document

that we submitted for accuracy and completeness to avoid any delays.

We are separated by 12 to 13 hour difference, so one of us have to sacrifice some sleep

so that we can talk everyday, and usually that's me...since I'm the man.

Besides the cluttered and sometime confusing processing requirements/documents,

about the only other thing that irritates us is sometime Skype voice/video quality is not too good,

and we have to constantly reconnect or fall back to text chatting.

Of course, I wished she was here from the day 1, but under the circumstance,

we found a way enjoy the 9+ months to get to know each other more deeply,

and we planned details on how our lives will be in the future...

and how we can get her smoothly transition into the American life.

I am going to be very to the point, notwithstanding that i have faith in my marriage and that i hope that we find positive resolution to all these fears and situations that i have discussed with him before pouring them out for the satifaction of your curiosity

His recently found love for his family that he never really mentioned or cared for.

It is taking a toll on me that he rather go out with them than stay in and talk to me.

Or that he plans on things without asking me how I feel about them.

Or that he lets conversations between his siblings go on and on about things like how we will all buy a house together in the future (?).

That he does not set his foot down and tells them that we will not live with or share expenses with anyone else outside our marriage when i get there.

That his relatives know how much and how often he send me money.

That the distance hurts.. but the realization of the family I am getting into is perhaps not as keen on leaving us alone as i thought so.

... and that hurts above all else.

You've got some serious troubles on the horizon if you don't set boundaries right now.
