Yes does anyone know the current costs for the medical exam at Health Center for Guangzhou Travel International? I am getting conflicting estimates. Please advise if you had your medical done there. Thank You, David

If you call them they will tell you the estimate and it depends on what they have to do and which shots they will give you I believe. So they told my fiancee to bring about 2200 (??) yuan if I recall correctly, but I don't think she used it all. I will check with her later and let you know later.

Also she did medical exam ans shots for fiancée visa, and I don't know if that makes difference if your are doing a spouse visa.

So I talked to fiancee last night.

She said they asked her to prepare about 2200 yuan,

but in the end, she only paid about 1300 yuan.

She said that Shanghai was the most expensive out of all US immigration authorized

medical facilities in China.

She said Guangzhou was only about 800 yuan.

I think 1100 for adult?

Basic medical examination fee: RMB1100 for adult, RMB700 for child

That's what I got from the website.

hey when did you get your CC and how long did you wait for interview scheduled?

Did the embassy or NVC contact you and let you know the interview date or you have to contact the embassy in china directly after case complete?

I'm a little bit confused with the process after the case complete.

Hi Jenny--that's about what I guessed they would costs. As for your other questions. The NVC completed our case on 08/08/2014 and contacted me that night that interview is scheduled for 09/11/2014 (easy date to remember). My guess is that you should be contacted soon. I have found they usually send notices at the end of the week and usually it's about a month after that will be the interview date. Good Luck and keep us posted! Regards, David

If you are doing spouse visa, you need the shots before you enter the US. If you are fiance you can delay them until you enter the US.

But unless you have super good medical insurance that will pay for your wife's shots in the US, you are better off paying for them in China than paying them at US costs. So let them do whatever shots the doctor says she needs so you don't have to deal with them (and pay US medical rates) here.

your interview was scheduled super fast, I got cc on 8/14, I still have not yet rec'd interview date, called NVC, they said they haven't started scheduling October interviews.. So I hope I will receive something soon.. Thanks for your info..
